Meet Michelle & Dan

We’re artists. We’re storytellers. We’re also married. Over the course of sixteen years and two continents, we’ve built a life and business together. Today, we’re based in Toronto and have been wedding photographers here for almost 10 years.

As co-lead photographers at every wedding, we complement each other to curate a photography experience like no other. The way we interact with each other and with you, helps create a friendly, comfortable atmosphere that eases any photo anxiety.

From our first chat, to the final image we create on your day, to our meticulous attention to detail while editing, we promise to deliver.

Michelle

Co-owner & Lead Photographer (she/her)

I grew up around the world, from the UK to Hong Kong, The Netherlands, a stint in Spain, and now Canada.

One of my most impressionable memories from childhood was viewing the 1997 Mario Testino photography exhibit, “Princess Diana.” I remember the way she looked: authentic, raw, genuine. This combination of art and emotion within images still influences me to this day and this is what I try to show in the way I tell the story of our couples’ wedding days.

Though my love of art and photography started young, I worked as an accountant for several years before leaving the industry to pursue wedding photography full time. I’ve kept my corporate sensibilities in the way that I’m organized, prompt, and business-minded. Away from my camera, I love travelling, exploring new restaurants, obsessing over crime dramas, and adoring my animals.

Dan

Co-owner & Lead Photographer (he/Him)

Like Michelle, I’ve called many places home: Belgium, the UK, and Canada. My family is full of creatives, so I grew up immersed in art.

I earned my undergrad and Masters degree in Digital Visual Effects, and now I work as a 3D artist in the film industry, where I’ve had the opportunity to create art for film and TV such as “Wonder Woman” and “The Mandalorian.” My style is influenced by the film work of Roger Deakins and the paintings of René Magritte.

My day job is a combination of technical skill and artistry that I translate to my work as a photographer, though it didn’t quite prepare me for being the family photo wrangler and boutonniere expert I am today! In my spare time, I like to travel, enjoy films, and support Arsenal football club.
