We have both been lead photographers for the last 10 years, collaborating and complementing each other to create an authentic memory of your wedding. And we’re not just photographers. Our marriage gives us an ease with each other that we find helps our couples become comfortable in front of the camera. We’ve captured that elusive light in a wine cellar reception and documented the intimate details of a windy, cliffside ceremony. Of course! If you’re deciding between packages we would advise you to go with the lower amount of hours first as you can always add on hours once your schedule has been confirmed.

Ok, so THIS is the most common FAQ/comment we get, so please don’t worry! Unless you’re a professional model or a TV personality, you probably wouldn’t have extensive experience with professional shoots, let alone a professional shoot with each other, so it’s a whole new experience for a lot of people! We want you to have fun with us during the shoot and not to worry! We will give you direction so we can capture who you both are.

Our typical turnaround time for weddings is 6-12 weeks, which largely depends on the time of year. Smaller sessions, such as engagement shoots will take on average around 2-3 weeks.

Yes! We are based in Toronto but will travel within Canada. We take a select number of destination weddings and in the past have covered weddings in the UK, Portugal & Colombia.

Before booking us, we ask that you review our portfolio. The final product we deliver to you will be consistent with what you see in our galleries. In addition colour correction and the editing style you see in our galleries, we will carry out minor corrections such as the odd blemish here and there. We do not carry out extensive 'photoshopping' such as changing body shapes. Each photographer will have their own style and level of editing, so it is important that you review the portfolios of the photographers you are looking into to make sure that you are happy with their work and know what to expect!

We have a lot of experience with different types of weddings from different types of backgrounds. We don’t just show up on the wedding day. We make sure we’re in contact with our couples throughout the process and we will make sure we know exactly what is going on and all the details of the schedule and events before the big day, so our couples can trust us and leave us to do what we do best - document the wedding day! That being said, we do have experience with shooting weddings where the main language or only language spoken has been Korean, Mandarin, Dutch and Sanskrit (during different weddings). We’ve also done a lot of fusion weddings. Of course you may also have realized that Dan is bilingual having grown up in Belgium, and therefore speaks French and a bit of Dutch!

The answer it depends. Each wedding we shoot is different and there are a few factors which affect the number of photos we end up delivering. For example if there are any delays, the number of hours you book us for, whether there is any travel time in between locations and whether enough time is given for each part of the day.
We don’t provide every single photo taken during a session or at a wedding, but please be assured we do not withhold any moments from you. Part of our process is 'culling' whereby we go through thousands of photos and carefully hand pick the photos which show you at your best and discard the undeliverable ones (the test shots, unflattering expression, eyes shut).
As a general guide you can expect us to deliver around 50-100 photos per hour of shooting.

We deliver the final processed image which is in JPEG format. We do not generally deliver unedited RAW files as this is an unfinished and unedited product which does not represent our product and services. This is industry standard within the wedding photography and many other photography industries.
